Portrait - feedback and critiques are welcome

Marco Fornaciari
Hello! I've made this one with a more graphical and minimalistic style in mind. I'm looking for some feedback and opinions on how it could be improved and polished. Also let me know what you think about it! Thanks so much!

Really gorgeous, Marco! Only critiques are that some of the structure of the nose around the nostrils/ball of nose seems a bit weird, and there's a shadow shape on the forehead that doesn't make sense.

Looks great mate! Keeping the background simple is the way to go. But where the background is the same color as the highlights I'm wondering if you want the face to blend into the background and if so is that how you wanted it to blend into the background? Have you tried different value/hue tones for a background? Or played around with some kind of framing effect that would contain the image rather than floating in space. Doing that would make a simple background a simple middle ground and thereby help push the main part of the image, the head, forward even more. Seeing as how the head is minimalist its more complex than the background would be.

Very nice! The head is well drawn and the forms are very structural. I don't have any suggestions for improvement. Do more and keep sharing!

This style looks really cool. I think though, if your going to do this graphic style, you should keep your shadows consistent. The shadows on the face are flat and devoid of detail, yet the shadows on the neck and shirt have a lot of texture and detail. Other than that, I think this is a very marketable style that I could see in magazines and advertising.
