I think a lot of factors are involved here. If you are younger, you likely lack the patience you will gain with age. I did not enjoy realism or spending a lot of time on a single drawing until my late teens. Even then, I didn't do it much. Playing music, an audiobook, a youtube video in the background, helps entertain the mind. Try that. Remember that you will not become a master illustrator overnight. As you continue to improve, your workflow will improve as well. But drawing for 8 hours one day is not nearly as effective as drawing for an hour every day. A good method of practice is to take a reference, set a timer for roughly 5 minutes, and do it on repeat. You will gain a lot from this. One of the biggest factors in your life is going to be discipline. Even if it is boring, you will need to learn to discipline yourself to improve. There is no secret, shortcut, or technique to magically become disciplined. You just need to train your brain. If you really want this path, you won't stop at something being "boring." You also need to consider the fact that any illustration form will always take a long time for detailed and complex rendering. If you do not enjoy the process, is this for you? It's definitely not for everyone, and that's okay. But if you struggle to enjoy what you are doing from the very beginning, there's a good chance it isn't for you. Often, we find it hard to differentiate between what seems appealing from another person's highlight moments and what something actually entails. Many famous painters throughout history were never famous until after death, yet they dedicated their lives to perfecting their craft. Many more times than the number of famous painters, are those whose names we never knew, and never will know. What every single person had in common was the dedication and love for what they do, not for the clout of being successful. You are free to admire art as anyone is, but in pursuit of mastery, every single famous painter did it for their love of the genre, not the fame that came with it. Find something you love. Maybe it's art, maybe it isn't. But love it simply for the love of doing it.

@coltonwoody i am currently working on a comic project that has taken me around months so far and in that comic I have worked for 1 illustration for days and weeks and that comic means a lot for me and I fully enjoy making that comic and art and it's a big project which requires a lot of thinking and effort and I have full patience and enjoyment for it but when I try to do some other artwork when that comic is not finished i always that urge in my mind to like keep it lite not doing too much in it and then I gets impatient easily in that thing and I can easily gets patient with one big project but simultaneously if I try do another project it feels overwhelming and then I get that urge always to do it faster and then I get impatient.
