"Open Original" and Right-Click Blocking

More of a suggestion if anything, but I wanted to gauge concern of the community: what does everyone think about the "Open Original" feature that gives you the same resolution and full size image that the original poster uploads? Personally I see the good it can do for someone like me who LOVES to study each pencil/brush stroke and try to deconstruct an artist's process, but I also can't help but think about the potential downsides. I worry that some of the artists here might get their work stolen to be reposted elsewhere, and convincingly so because the work they would upload will be available in their highest resolution. I've seen websites use a right-click blocking feature so discourage saving the original image to the computer, or just the click or hover-zoom might be a safer alternative. I believe in the integrity of this community that we wouldn't go stealing each other's work, but as a free and open website viewable by anybody, I think it is an important concern to at least bring up, even if just to dispel worries or dismiss it!

I'd say the safest option is to upload a reduced resolution of your work here just for display if you worry about it being stolen. Also I'd guess that many people that go around stealing artwork don't worry much bout the max resolution anyway:D Hoover zoom sounds good too. I like to open some artwork on artstation in new tab then ''F11'' it to see it on the maximum size I can w my monitor tho:)

That's a great idea! Uploading a full image at reduced resolutions and then, say, a few cropped detail shots sounds like a good alternative. Thanks for your point of view!
