Hey, @Dennis Yeary! I agree with @Steve Lenze’s notes, and I’d also add, as a suggestion (I’m case you haven’t done it), that perhaps you might find it helpful to come up with a little backstory for the character - it doesn’t need to be a long novel or anything, but just enough of some basic “profile” information that can help inform your character design process. For example, you can try asking yourself questions about your character such as: what is his name? How old is he? Where does he live? (Is it in the real world or maybe an imaginary one?) What’s his life history: how was his past, what’s his family like, what does he do for living, what does he believe in? How is his approach to the good and to the bad things in life? What does he want, what is his greatest desire or existencial purpose? By having answers on these and other “ID” questions about your characters, you can make clearer choices about visual aspects such as their appearance, their outfit, their props, unique characteristics such as ethnicity, hairstyle, scars, tattoos… and even the way they behave, how they deal with emotions and social interactions and how they show what they think and feel through their actions, mannerisms and gestures. Our history, culture and environment shape who we are as people, and the same is true for our fictional characters! Hope this helps.

Hey Dennis, Good job on the pose, twists always make it look more dynamic. What I did was do a sketch over what you drew to show you how you can use wrinkles and creases to help show what is going on. Remember, everything we add to our drawing adds to the information your viewer needs to understand the perspective and underlying anatomy. I hope the sketch helps :)
