Moments of Suspension in Canine Motion

Here’s a study of a running dog.
While drawing, I noticed how interesting the differences are between trotting, walking, and full-speed running.
The shifts in weight through the legs, the moments of suspension, and the rhythm of the paws hitting the ground all feel distinct.
Just observing that makes me want to draw a few more studies.
Very good!
There's a lot of structure and gesture in these studies. Also you kept the proportions believable in all of these.
I don't know if you're studying for a project or for your own amusement, but I think it would be interesting studying also smaller breeds. I get the feeling you only studied large dogs and studying small ones can be a new challenge.
Keep drawing and best regards
