Mannequinization - Looking for critique

Hello there. I've started Figure Drawing Fundamentals course not a while ago and now I'm "finally" at mannequinization. Am I doing it right? Any suggestion or feedback? Also, I was doing Drawabox course, I've finished Lesson 3 before I started FDF. I think Drawabox is very-very-very useful resource for begginers because it helps to understand simple geometric shapes and then apply them to the figure. It's funny tho, because back in the times I was thinking, for exaple, of shoulder as a "shoulder". I would check bones, anatomy and etc and then try to draw what I know. But after Drawabox I understood that it's better to go from general structures to more details. Now I'm looking at all body parts as cylinders, cubes, prisms and etc.

It's wonderful that you've done drawabox first. I did the same and found it immensely helpful with the figure. I think your mannequins are wonderful. Their purpose is to get an understanding of forms in perspective. The figures you have are very structural and I can feel the form of how it moves through space. The right leg on the male is a bit too hard to understand though. You may want to study that extreme foreshortening a bit more. Also, try not to go into details. The time you spend on the details is more time you could spend on another figure gaining deeper understanding of form. Build the foundations first, when you have that the rest will look great. I used to focus on the details so much because it would cover up all the mistakes with the structure. Now I'm beginning to see how easy the details are. Establishing the foundation, that's what is the hardest. Keep going, finish up the course and make something with the skills you have. Your ready to work on making art you've always wanted while practicing. Great job!
