Macro Realism Eye Study - Tissue Texture and Highlight Feedback

Hi everyone! This is a macro-realism study isolating the anatomy of the human eye using graphite and a blending stump on paper. I focused on emphasizing the glossy texture of the wet cornea through sharp, preserved white paper highlights. I am looking for feedback on my structural gradients—specifically, whether the delicate folds of the eyelid and the fine eyelash lines carry the correct anatomical depth and volume without looking over-rendered.
Hi, Anita! I really like your highlights and your iris. For the lower eyelid, I think, I would have chosen a less curvy line to avoid the almond shape. My anatomical knowledge is not too deep, but in my opinion, you could fleshen up the upper eyelid. Nothing looks overrendered to me and I like how you designed the folds. I hope, this helps ;)
