Looking for Real-Time Process Videos (Finding my Artistic Direction)

Hi everyone :) I’m currently in a phase where I’m trying to figure out which artistic direction I want to pursue. I’ve realized that watching an artist's full process is the best way for me to see if a certain style or technique resonates with me. I am looking for real-time process videos (not time-lapses!) of artists creating their work from start to finish. Seeing the actual speed, the decision-making, and even the "ugly stages" would be incredibly helpful for my development. Could you please share links to videos or creators who showcase their full process? It doesn't matter if it’s digital or traditional, fine art or concept art—I’m open to everything right now to find what clicks.

Here's an Indie Manga Artist, Akihito Yoshitomi, his use of traditional tools for comic art is what makes me love his channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_D6yuw81mVE For more western comic flavor here's Jim Lee taking 6 hours to draw a single comic page. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIOA7UDcXos

Hey! I know exactly what you mean about real-time demos as key pieces towards understanding. The best place I can think of that I go back to all the time is the Watts Atelier YouTube channel's backlog of livestreams. Incredible amount of information there for free, including oil and gouache painting, inking, charcoal drawing, wildlife, fantasy, concept art, landscapes, anatomy, etc. It's a treasure trove. https://www.youtube.com/@wattsatelier/streams Another great one is Dave Finch's YouTube livestream backlog. It's very comics focused, mainly pencil and ink, but there are plenty of painting streams, too. https://www.youtube.com/@DavidFinchartist/streams There are a lot more I won't link but you should check out on YouTube, mostly traditional fine art related... Jim Lee, Andrew Tischler, Ben Valentine, Draw Mix Paint, Ginger Cook, JakeDontDraw, James Gurney, Arthur Gain, Proko (obviously), Richard Musgrave Evans, Steve Huston, Stuart Davies, etc. That's about all I can come up with at the moment. Hope this helps, and good luck!
