looking for critique on colors

I'm not sure if this is the right category for this since I mostly used marker, but I'm mainly looking for critique on my colors. I haven't really colored anything in awhile so it was fun getting back to it.
Also if anyone has advice on how I could push the shapes more that'd be good too. ッ
edit: I did use white paint for the white, i had some trouble getting precise lines on the hair

Hey Christal,
I think your colors are mostly fine. The problem is that there is no dimension to the face because of a lack of light and shadows. These will factor into your colors, and make them more accurate. I did a quick color sketch to show you what I mean, I hope it helps :)

Thanks Steve! Ill pay attention to that. Lips usually gives me the most trouble, any advice for those specifically?
