Hey Jo, it's me again :)
I like the attitude of this pose and facial expression, nice. The pose is a little stiff, you will see in my drawing that you are using straight lines. All I did was tilt the head, torso and left leg a little to add some curve to the pose. Hope it's helpful :)

Hey @Jo Edgehill , nice drawing, the gesture is really good! One thing I think might help is to define a little bit better the shadows. You could add some contrast to it and also use it to better show the forms of the body and the clothing of your character.
