Intentional? Unable to edit comment after a while

Wrote a comment this morning, but when I wanted to edit it now later in the afternoon I couldn´t. The edit button didn´t show. Just wanted to check if this is intentional and not a bug :)

Yes, it is intentional. You usually only have a few hours after posting a comment to edit it. We wanted to give users enough time to edit mistakes or add context without being able to completely alter their message after too many users post under it.
