I want my anime-style drawings to have stronger rhythm, clearer structure, and more dynamic force.

Hi! I’m a Japanese amateur artist, so my English may sound a little unnatural. I usually draw anime-style illustrations, but I recently learned that rhythm, gesture, and force can make anime-style drawings feel more alive and closer to the kind of art I want to make. I’m trying to understand how to find the flow and force in a pose. In this study, I marked the flow with red arrows, but I’m not sure if I’m thinking about it correctly. Does the main flow I marked make sense? Also, does the leg area feel too flat or stiff? I attached an example of my usual artwork as well, because I want to apply this kind of gesture/force study to my anime-style illustrations. Any advice would be appreciated!

I did some drawings that I hope help. You’ve got a good foundation, your drawings are nice. You can exaggerate more, learning to exaggerate helps make drawings feel alive. You also seem to struggle with legs, focus more on finding either the correct direction of the bend or on creating asymmetry, a straight side and a curved side. I hope this helps, feel free to ask any questions, I’ll do my best to assist you
