How should I compose words in my art?

I drew this robot, but when I finished, I noticed that the Japanese characters were basically unintelligible. For future reference, how should I put words in a piece?

Hey @Judah Rojas this is a cool robot design! Like with any composition problem, it helps to lay things out temporarily first, either in a series of thumbnails on a scrap piece of paper, or right on top of your drawing with a light pencil sketch that can be erased later. Treating all of your elements as large simplified shapes will help you experiment with placement in the frame and help you get a sense of how things can or should be placed. It helps to start with this phase to make sure you correctly place your figure with enough room on the page, and to make sure you don't encounter any tangents with the other elements in the composition. Hope this helps! Keep up the good work!
