Head anatomy study for portrait. (Help!)

Hi everyone, I need your help. I've been studying head structure and some of its anatomy because I want to do a portrait of someone with their head in an unusual position, but I can't get the likeness right and the proportions are off. I also want to capture the facial expression. I don't know if I'm doing it right; I'm honestly a little desperate. I hope someone can help me. I would really appreciate it.

I think your proportions are looking pretty good overall! You're following the rule of thirds: the hairline, the browline, the bottom of the nose and the chin equal distances from each other. If you haven't checked out the Loomis method yet, Proko has some good videos on it. That model will help you place the head in really any position you could imagine.
