Super basic but important thing to remember- the eye sockets tilt upward at their medial edge (the edge closest to the centerline of the head).
That's interesting. How does it help us to design the drawing? People's eyes don't necessarily follow that angle always?

Knowing the design of the skull helps you to design a drawing through the knowledge of where the skull makes itself evident on the surface of the face. The bottom outer corner of the eye socket, for instance, indicates a major plane shift from the front of the face to the side plane of the cheek/jaw. And that's only one of the indications that can be made use of, there are many others.
