Hello everyone! My name is Mun and I am a beginner at drawing and would like eventually be a hobbyist who's very good at environmental drawings. I was wondering if you have any advice on what to study or maybe a roadmap for that goal, it would be much appreciated. What I'm asking for is just a general idea on what fundamentals/courses to go through and what's their right order.. I'm currently taking the perspective course with Marshall Vandruff. Thank you :)
((P.S. I do draw digitally and want to build a strong foundation without getting into 3D))

Hi, Mun! For fundamentals, I can highly suggest taking Stan Prokopenkos "Drawing Basics" course. You can also do that course digital if that is what you prefer. There are also several courses on digital painting, but I cannot speak for any of those, since I have not taken them.

Thank you, Natalie!! I really appreciate your reply. I do intend to take the drawing basics course after I’m done with the perspective course. I’ve also been told that I need to do composition and shape studies with a very basic knowledge of perspective. Though, I believe perspective would help me way more with my specific goal and I wouldn’t just ditch it just after the basic concepts. But, I understand where they were coming from and will get to composition eventually. Again, thanks a lot.
