Nice job, @Elson sunshine! As far as the basic principles go, I second @Steve Lenze’s comments (he’s given some pertinent tips worth considering as you keep going). And if you’re that kind of person (like I am) that often takes it too hard on themselves, I’d also say you can relax a bit and take these considerations lightly - you’re on track! Keep practicing and do a few more of these simple objects with basic lighting and you should see yourself getting the hang of it in no time. Make sure to take a look at Stan’s video on Shading Light and Form – Basics for another set of helpful tips before your further practice sessions. And if you start to enjoy this and really want to get in-depth about shading (like, really), you could consider checking out @Dorian Iten’s The Shading Course – Fundamentals of Realism, Light & Shadow. Hope this helps! Best of luck.

Hey Elson, Nice job working from life. The problem I am seeing in your drawing is that your reflected light is too light. This is a common issue with beginners. I know the lemon is a light color, but you still need to create some darker notes, like the occlusion shadow under the lemon. I did a real quick sketch to show you what I mean, I hope this helped :)

Thanks for the tip, I nafe the rflected light like that because I deliberately put piece of white paper underneath, that was mainly the focus in this study.

Hey Elson, looks good. Before I give my opinion, can I ask how you feel about it? Are you proud of it? What was difficult?

Hello @Paige . First, Yes, I am proud of it, until that drawing all I was doing were master studies, so I was pleased to be able to apply some of the things I learned from that to a real object. Secondly, I think the most difficult was to made a clear distinction between the lighted area and the reflected light, in fact, that was the purpose of this drawing to see what reflected light looks like, and I placed a white paper underneath as well.
