I really enjoyed seeing your practice! When I draw, I usually start by observing the overall proportions and the outer silhouette, then gradually add in light and shadow details. Good for you learning art. If I were you, I would pay more attention to the amount of shadow surrounding the pear at the bottom as well as the shape of it and the shape of the pear, if you want it to be more life-like. It´s all about practice, practice, practice and you´ll find that in time you will improve.

I like it, but your missing two values: the value of the pear, and the value of the background.
