Character Design - DnD fighter/druid

Hi guys! I'm designing my first Dungeons and Dragons character for a friend. Character design is very new to me, and also I have no idea how to do clothes and stuff so this is a real learning project!
Here is the initial sketch and some colour ideas. Obviously this is just stage 1 and I have a long way to go. I was just hoping for some feedback on what I've got so far. Any tips/advice or if you notice anything I've got super wrong please help before I spend hours carrying on with what I've done already! Thanks!!

Hey @Smithies! Nice work! I did a paintover focusing on value structure. Your design has a strong silhouette but I think by adding more value contrasts within the costume we can let the eye move around a little more. A lot of times I like to build a gradient from light to dark/top to bottom. Other than the notes on the image attached I painted up the face a little and adjusted some shapes.
Thanks for sharing!

I would say your design feels a little bottom heavy. I think that the legs are too long in proportion to the top half. The middle of the height is usually somewhere around the waist. I think you could improve that by either shrinking the legs or making the hips and up bigger. The torso and arms are fairly small.
