Any suggestions on what courses to get/do after this one?

As the title says I’m speculating what courses to do next. Ultimately I’d love to draw characters or comic like media. Or even conceptual like card art. I like story telling so the dream is to one day post web comics. But I want to learn in a structured and practical way. I’m willing to be patient and put in the time. So yeah. What should the next course be? I’m thinking maybe gesture drawing? Or perspective.

Great advice from Yoshi below. What you've listed above are important for comics/storytelling. I don't think you can go wrong with courses in either of those subjects. Anatomy is also a key skill for creating characters, human or animal. I think if you were to choose, attempting a project like Yoshi suggested and deciding what is most important to you at the moment after reflection could be a good way to move forward.
Oh actually one more question. Would you think Gesture before anatomy or anatomy before Gesture?
Ok that’s good advice. I still have plenty of work left on the basics course so I’m thinking a ways ahead. Haha I just wanted a road map. But i wanted to make sure I’m learning in a practical manner. So thank you!
Have you tried putting your work into practice? It usually helps me when i do projects and then reflect on what im missing. You can try doing a short story and see how it goes
I have in a limited capacity. I actually came up with a project like this where I made a character and setting and was gonna just make little short stories with him for practice. I fell off of it because
1. I started this and got focused on the course
2. Admittedly because of confidence issues.
I was trying to do what I could from imagination which isn’t anywhere as good as when I’m referencing (which is natural of course)
but now that your saying this and combined with the drawing from imagination project I just did it may be a good time to pick it back up. I loved learning a process for preparing to draw from imagination and I think adding that to my project will help a ton.
So thank you!
