I can definitely tell you observed the subject a little more closely this time. While I haven't watched the lesson, I'd like to see a distinct separation between the shadow side and the light side. Closing one eye and squinting the other will help to see the basic overall shapes of the light and the shadow. And within those shapes, usually none of the shades of shadow will be as light as any part of the light side, while none of the light side values would be as dark as any of the shadow values. Good job working out some value scales.
