Just completed the exercise! I'm pretty happy with how they turned out but after watching the video, I think I have a long way to go in terms of capturing the idea vs smaller contours, and getting more confident just sketching and exploring.

I agree with you on the sketching and exploring -- push yourself to get a bit looser with your strokes. You won't find the correct one on the first try, so keep your lines light and find the correct lines as you go.
