I'm all for more diversity, as long as the standard of quality artists remains. The problem I had with the Jennifer Wang podcast, if I recall, is that she was actively looking for stuff to be offended by. As in, "use these approved words and phrases or you are a racist and misogynistic." It just reeked of someone trying to assert their moral superiority more than anything else

In no way did she mean to imply that. I was so enthralled by what I was hearing that I had to pause the video after a few minutes, and the comments shocked me. The issue is that some are looking for reasons to criticize her, when in fact, as a woman of Asian descent, she was spot-on about the importance of white people being conscious of the impact of their depictions on people of color. https://thebackrooms.onl
