It took forever, but my snail and boots x 4 attempts are attached. I'm doing this on an iPad in Fresco. I went overboard with the boots because I wanted to play with watercoloring them. I did this before watching Stan, and realize I was WAY too detailed on my boots. I drew a grid so I could get the proportions right after lots of failed attempts. Stan's skill and speed are intimidating.

You did a great job with the boots. The speed and accuracy will come with lots of practice, so make sure you draw every day :) Keep up the good work!

I'm a newbie artist (insert laugh here). I'm doing this course exclusively on an iPad Pro with 2nd Gen Apple Pencil using Adobe Fresco. I'm trying to be faithful to Stan's guidance, but digitally. I did two pears before I was brave enough to do the assignment. Doing my best "real" pear (not simplified and many values) then doing the "planar pear" were both helpful to me. I felt like I could see the pear in the photo better.

This is really good.

I'm doing this course exclusively on my iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil 2 and Adobe Fresco. I drew this before watching the demo and now realize I was supposed to use the pencil point and shade with lines, rather than using the edge of the pencil to shade. I did draw the initial layout with straight lines, but I got carried away with the contours being a bit more curved. I also used more than 5 values . So...fail.
