pear #3, 3rd attempt overall

Try #2 (while following along w the observation video)

3rd try of the pear and after watching the demo I felt a little bit more confident in the process, I can see in the final drawing that confidence visually in shapes and values (on this assignment at least), now I just need years of practice to make it perfect 🙌

I am still not happy with shadow area, but if I darken them even more, I will end up with same dark as core shadow. Any suggestions please?

As someone who began drawing for the first time a year ago.. by watching ‘realism eye’ tutorials, and got obsessed with the details of a face (with absolutely no understanding of artistic anatomy).. this was HARD.
