I'm sorry for the little rant I'm about to leave here, you're content is excellent and out of any question, I absolutely love it, but the website and media player is making watching the videos way more painful than it should, at least in an android phone with Firefox. It freezes, jumps randomly, crashes... I don't know if there's something anyone can do to make this better or if this is the place to complain, but man... I want to learn but sometimes I can't because of this, and it's frustrating 😭😭😭 please let me know if this message doesn't belong here and I have to make it go though another channel 🙏🏼

I don't know what type of android you have but Samsung's default internet browser works fine for me.

First Batch. I think I need to work on proportions and placing the feet.
I also felt that I may have tried to follow the contours a bit too much in some areas.

First attempt. Couple of things I took note of was that the angles are off on the hat and shoulders and the face needs to be wider. Going to focus more on my width measurements next time.

Jeff said that his drawing exemplifies a heavy calligraphic style of drawing. What does he mean by calligraphic? Calligraphy is the art of beautiful handwriting. Is he saying that his drawing has a handwriting style? And if so, what is that?
1yr
A calligraphic style is kind of your own personal signature that makes it recognizable. For instance in observational drawing you could draw what you see while also adding bits of what you would like to see in the picture, adding your own personal style to it.

What does Jeff mean when he says his drawing has a tonal feel? Sorry, I'm a novice to artistic terms.
1yr
It essentially means that the drawing it composed of shapes of relative values that transition into one another with a particular edge (hard,soft,firm,etc.). It mimics more so how light falls on a form in real life than say hatching or crosshatching.
