Definitely reluctant to lay down harder lines

My eyes are fried. Scale/perspective felt like a challenge here with those laces in the way

Finding it hard to accept the shading. Using the edge of the graphite rather than the tip feels like there’s a lack of finesse and style in the end result. Also unsure how intense to have the contour at the end. Reference photo in the course used to draw
