I bought this pack and they told me to register here to get them, but when I go to orders they say it’s not available. Does anyone know what I have to do to get them? Thank you!

Hi. I bought this pack and I’m struggling to do gradients or even graining layers with tilt, and I think that might has to do with pressure sensitivity settings. Is there an optimal pressure sensitivity setting for Procreate that would help me achieve the best results?

I use the default pressure curve in Procreate, but definitely experiment with it. Everyone has a different ideal pressure.

Absolutly love this brush pack - one of the first things I used when starting in Procreate as it made me feel less intimidated to have tools named after the materials I normally use when life drawing <3

I buy a lot of brush sets, and usually there is just one or two brushes I will end up using in a whole pack. But this one definitely has a whole bunch I am already using. They draw just like the real thing. If you like charcoals/shading, this is a pack for you.

Attached are a couple of recent drawing from life using the Charcoal Master Pack. I use the smudge tool (included in pack) quite often as I work, both as a means of softening edges and reducing unwanted contrast. I find that it often work well to smudge (soften) a rough area of the drawing, then go back over it with more defined and controlled marks.

Procreate is $9.99 on the app store and they've given me constant updates and new features...this is $22. The price is out of touch with reality.

I think its worth it, they really are quality brushes (better than the ones I make currently) as well as the brush pack you get nifty little video demo's - like just support an artist, you're helping grow someone's value of themselves, if they're an educator they probably could do with the coin to keep the dream alive. I dunno' just my 2cents. I think they're nifty, I dont have a huge collection of brushes but I think these are quality, also his FREE demo is excellent. What is your time worth to you? It probably is a couple hours work here?? (brush creation, video content, internet connection, software for recording, rent, blah blah) I dunno, support an artist.

Exactly.. Most of the time brush packs are either free or up to 10$ for 100+ brushes

This brush pack only works with Procreate. However, I am in the process of making a HUGE new set for Photoshop!

I grabbed this on Gumroad awhile back and it is so damn good at replicating the real thing. Worth every dollar!

Any brushes in particular you would recommend for conte pencils on newsprint vibe similar to the lessons? I'm having a hard time finding something that looks like the side of a conte for shadow mapping.

Agreed, these are pretty much the only tools I use on Procreate

Thanks, Stan! I'm impressed with the depth and versatility of Procreate's brush system, combined with the great tilt and pressure sensitivity of the Apple Pencil. I used my experience with real charcoal to replicate the natural effects as much as possible.
