I posted my info here yesterday in the hopes of getting a review, but my comment was immediately hidden by a bot "for spam". I'm guessing it didn't like the link to my ArtStation portfolio. I did open a dispute, but I guess moderators don't work on Sundays so if it ever gets unhidden, it will sadly be too late for that review. Your bot is a real jerk. Just saying.

I have worked with a wide range of media, from paper collage to CGI. I enjoy creating for its own sake, but professionally, I am pursuing an animation career. I haven't strictly settled on traditional vs CGI, but I greatly enjoy working with both. Apologies if the wide range of media on display makes this portfolio hard to analyze!

Finished the assignment! All of these sketches were done with good ol' pencil and paper. I opted not to erase all my construction lines to better show my thought process. All critiques welcome!

Excellent work! It took me a long time to spot any mistakes at all. The fifth image in particular is a little strange, both technically and design-wise. The ribcage is flattened, the neck is too stiff, and I'm not sure why the left arm terminates so abruptly. The sixth image has an even bigger problem: all of the fingers except the thumb are missing a joint, and are noticeably too short (though it appears Marshall's demo may have the same mistake; can't be sure, because I don't have the premium course). Overall, I'm impressed. The perspective is convincing and your design choices do a great job of showing the function of the joints. As I'm still working on this material myself, seeing this level of dedication is very motivating!

Apologies for the line quality! These were made on my phone with a big, fat stylus. There are some mistakes I am already aware of and intend to fix when I return to this assignment at a later date. All critiques welcome!
