Nice job. Although i dont know the original piece and hence cannot say anything too specific, I still think that you have been a little more "blendy" than what Sargent's work ever seems to have. Nonetheless, great work; his non-blendy and brushy realism is very difficult to learn.

Hey Nikko,
I like your painting, it's well done. I'm not sure if you were making this a stylized face or not, but the eyes are a little big if you were not. I think though the best advise I could give you is that you need to work on your edges. They all tend to be hard. Hard edges work on cast shadows, but form shadows should have soft edges. The biggest example would be her nose, the way you have the shadows on either side of her nose makes it look like it was carved out of granite instead of soft flesh. Other than that, you did a nice job on a tricky lighting style, front lighting is not very forgiving. I hope this helped :)

These are looking cool Nikko. I think your color palettes are working well .In the first one, try adding a darker value in the iris to describe the light more and it'll help give the eyes more depth/.

oh wow i love them. The last one is my favorite, that small pop of red/pink against all the blue really pulls that piece together
