Piece Name: Snowball Siege An Epic snowball fight between an abominable snowman and medieval castle guards. Had a blast making this. Thanks Proko team for the very fun prompt.

looks awesome! I like the anatomy. but it looks like your focused on contour rather than the gesture. I think if you focused on the gesture more intially that would help; and you wouldn't have so many sketchy, searching lines. I like the shape design by the way. looks really good.

Hey y´all! What I really don´t get is, that Proko says that we should draw motion and not contour. But in the very first example at minute 1 he clearly draws the contour. So I really don´t get the difference at these examples. Sometimes it looks like contour somtimes not. The difference is clearly that we should focus on the movement the body does, I got that. But if we have the "movement" should we then surround it with contour? Hm.. that´s really tricky to get the hang of it :). Maybe someone can bring light in here?

I think he means the overarching rhythm and flow. he doesnt want you to get caught up in every little shape but rathe the broad stokes through an around those shapes. in the first video "how to draw gesture" he describes this using the ball example. I would suggest rewatching that video. hope this helped (:
