I put this one off long enough. Happier with the boot on the right than the left. Now off to watch the demo video to see what I could have done better.

A bit of a cheat because this pic was from last month, but I took a lego Marie Antoinette with me to Versailles. I thought I'd try to capture the essence of the out of focus background using quick, soft lines. I guess it kind of worked.

Yesterday's Barracuda. Wasn't going to post it, but was inspired to by @wasabi_studio's Chevelle.

Day 2 for me. I'm keeping it at basics before I do all the shading stuff, since I suck at fundamentals. I learned today how to get the pencil to draw lightly which was a great milestone for me. After second drawing I got hand cramps, so I guess there is some progress as well in the muscles I suppose!
I also wanted to let you all know that Drawing Board is a great tool that really helped me to get a right posture and fix my shaking hands. If you are like me, buy one of these, they are great.

I have (essentially) the same drawing board. Its small enough to cart around, packs flat, and makes it so you always see the page at the proper viewing angle.

A kuksa that I carved a while back, and an interestingly shaped mailbox (still) wrapped in christmas lights that I saw on a walk this weekend.

I'm finding myself in the past couple of days taking quick snaps of a lot of things that look like they have nice lines, especially while out walking my dog.

These were really fun. Probably be doing many more pages of them
