Hello! I am trying to get a hang of these gesture drawings. I feel that sometimes I run out of time so I did them for 60 seconds each. How are these looking?

Hello I would say you're focusing too much on contor view the legs for example as an S curve I would also suggest you check out Michael Mattesi on YouTube his style of gestures is different from proko but his videos really helped me see flow and rhythm overall you're doing great keep it up

(Some of the photos are sideway if a pose looks weird try flipping it) I've tried out the 30 second poses I've also done these in ink so hopefully it'll be easier to see any criticism is welcome any suggestions on how to improve the flow or mistakes I've made in the gestures is welcom e

Hey these aren't bad for a first try I would highly suggest you check out Michael Mattesi videos on force gesture drawing there done In a different style then proko but they really helped me see the rhythm and flow of poses I would also suggest since you're new to gesture drawing to try longer times to draw gestures like 1 to 5 minutes for now and once you get more used to that you can go back and try the 30 second videos In terms of a critic I could give you the lines are too straight try using C and S curves for the body Gesture drawing is hard but keep at it and you'll improve keep at it

Hi I've got some new gesture drawings if there anything wrong please let me know so I can get better Also how can I get better at controlling my lines one of my biggest issues with my gestures is sometimes when drawing S curves for legs or arm they go in directions I don't want them to go to am I drawing too fast or is it something else?

Hey I've been trying to add foreshortening to my mannequins but it's just not working out the way I want it too I have been studying perspective for the past few months and I understand that the closer something is to you the larger it seems and that the further it is the smal.er it gets and I understand that forms overlap when foreshortened yet whenever I try it I can't get it right Should I just stop trying and go back once I learn more about other fundamentals or is there something I'm missing if there any videos sites or anything to help learning this easier I would greatly appreciate any and all help

Your drawing has some proportion errors for example the head is too big and the arm resting on the leg needs to be a big longer I suggest going back practice measurements and proportions Your doing great keep it up

Anko.
Was a little harder than i thought it would be but it was fun overall... i struggled a little using boxes and mostly used cylinders to structure out the bodies... some feedback on things i can improve on will help a lot <3

I would say study boxes more drawabox is a YouTube channel that can really help with improving structure I would suggest using more clear and solid shapes as the monkey for example feels more like you put Contor lines around the arms and legs rather then soild shapes Overall your doing great keep it up hope this helped

These gesture are really nice if I had to give you criticism i would say for the top 3rd drawing her leg is too straight I would personally use an S curve to show the gesture of the leg

Tried the assignments and I feel I got them wrong I keep getting the angles of the forms wrong (mainly the pelvis ) and I don't know why I check the landmarks yet any time I look at prokos I'm always off is that normal will it affect how my drawings in the anatomy/shading stage much or am I overthinking? This has been bothering me for a while so any and all criticism or advice would be greatly appreciated
