Digitally Painting Like a Sculptor – Caricature Critique
Here’s one of the student critiques from the caricature lesson on digital paint sketching.
Ever try painting like a sculptor or drawing like a painter? This may sound unintuitive, but thinking in large blocks of shape and tone will help you develop the forms to look more real and natural. In this critique, we will watch one of our student’s digital process videos and review where they can improve in their work. Court will show you his technique for developing a quick digital caricature portrait and talk about how to think when painting to make an appealing image.
This is only a small part of critiques for the caricature premium lesson, there are 9 more critiques in the premium course.
