In this two-part workshop we use various tools such as erasers and tissue to add volume to the figure, while all the time making sure that it never becomes stiff and that it always seems to have motion. The trickiest of tasks all laid out with the solutions at hand!

Within our search for gesture we must also comply with the laws of nature, making sure that the muscles and bones are in the right order and places so that we now have realism, plus gesture, to continue our journey of making a still image appear to be alive with motion.
