David Finch covers traditional comic inking tools, like the Series 7 Winsor & Newton sable brush and a nib holder, and compares them with modern tools like Micron pens. He also shares techniques for precise inking over pencils, highlighting challenges like ink spills and paper damage. There’s additional info on learning how to achieve detailed lines and the benefits of using contemporary inking methods.

Hello. I've made a few changes at the suggestion of Patrick Bosworth, who gave me some very accurate assessments regarding the distribution and density of shadows and their importance in the composition. I think they've improved to the extent that they can be improved. Other errors can only be corrected using a computer. But I think these are sufficient for now.

Hi, I'm posting the finished pages here, also an alternate version of the first one with an alternate superhero. Thank you very much, I think it is a great course.
