In this refined edition of Part 3, we will pass through the final stage of the painting- a treacherous territory. However, the first 2 stages have cleared up many of the obstacles that can stand in the way. The drawing is locked in, the local colors are correct in relationship to each other, so nothing left to do but bring this one home.
This 4 hour video covers every mark I made in this final layer of the painting- and commentary the whole way through. I hope you will enjoy/be challenged-by working along with me.
Your assignment for this section is to completely block in the painting again. Once you have completed that you will move on to adding additional color values that will help to create soft transitions between the rough shapes of your initial block in.
