To create quick hand gesture studies in clay it's a good idea to use the "middle's pinky thumb" technique. Start by sculpting the forearm and the middle three fingers as a simplified, stretched teardrop shape. Next, add the thumb and pinky using basic shapes—a flattened drumstick for the thumb and a bowling pin for the pinky. Finally, block out the fingers, indicating knuckles and padding. Aim for simplicity and complete each study in about 20-30 minutes.

Great start and fun gestures! I especially like the one with the thumb between the pointer and middle finger. the palm might be a little small and the fingers too thick for many of them but you'll get better the more you do so keep it up!
