Just got charcoal today for the first time. Top three are graphite attempts from last night. I'm thoroughly enjoying this course. It's the perfect way to relax on the weekend and simultaneously grow as an artist. I'm getting the concepts but any guidance with my shape design would be greatly appreciated. There's definitely something I'm missing. Especially with the inner thigh. Also, the charcoal is general's 6B pencil. I'm thinking it's not the appropriate choice for my stage. I find myself pulling too dark a line too easily. Should I find the pencil he is using our is this the wrong idea/question?
