Is there a systematic way to determine the shape of the shadow on the 'ground'? Is it an ellipse? Is the axe of this ellipse aligned with the direction of the light? Is it more like an 'egg' form where the shape is larger as we go further from the form?

This article might help: https://thevirtualinstructor.com/how-to-draw-paint-cast-shadows.html (What is labeled as "core shadows" in the first illustration might be more specifically labeled "form shadow", of which the core shadow is a part, especially on curved surfaces.)
Attached is one of the value studies I did with the values guide. This was from a photo I found found on google.
Any feedback is welcomed!
Hi @Dorian Iten , awesome to see that you are teaching on Proko. I already have your light guide lessons and they are really good. Will these be able to sync with the lessons on Proko? or are these whole new videos?
Best regards

Hi @Lasse Jin Voldbirk! I'm happy you like the lessons :)
This package here on Proko contains all three guides that I've released individually on my website and Gumroad in the last few years: the "Accuracy Guide", "Values Guide", and "Light Guide".
