Week 2: Color! Color can often be an obstacle in evaluating our work - in that it's such an interesting feature of a painting, but really only can work if the values are in place correctly. Many self-taught artists mistakenly think they have a color issue when really it's a value or drawing issue. This lecture will help you develop a simple system for understanding which colors to mix/pick, while tying it all right back to the value lesson. Several types of studies and exercises are shown, from simple to more advanced.
