Really enjoy watching your whole process, and seeing how you correct mistakes.
Lucas Peinador
Hey Chanel, thank you very much for the comment. I really appreciate that you liked watching the whole process. I know it's a long video, but I hope that it helps out in your assignment. I especially like how geometrically you're approaching the facial features. I think it is really going to help that you are approaching them with sharp angles now, because later on it is way easier to go from sharp to curved rather than the other way around.

appreciate you leaving in the parts where you identify and fix mistakes.
Lucas Peinador
Haha, thank you very much. Yeah, I think it's important to watch videos of artists working to realize that mistakes are a natural part of the process.

eyelashes are tricky! i wouldn't know how to wrap them without a reference at this point. Tried to keep this super graphic cause I loved how you used the eraser to cut into the eyebrows and made super cool eyelashes. Thanks for the tip for for seeing the perspective in the last one, that was super helpful.

Sure thing Laura, my pleasure. And about these ones, I think they look good. I wouldn't mind if you would have gone a bit thicker with the eyelashes, don't be afraid to make them stand out. I like what you did more on teh first drawing for example, the contrast between those thick upper lashes and the thin lower ones makes for a very nice read. Great work also with the drwaings of teh faces underneath!

Enjoyed working side-by-side through the examples, it's really helpful to be able to do a draw-a-long for each piece of anatomy.
Lucas Peinador
Hey mmehlhope! you did a great job with these ones, the eyes especially, for the profile view there are some small proportion issues, but you'll iron those out with the future videos. I also like you are alreayd putting some shading there and showing you are not afraid of it. Keep it up!
