A complementary palette uses opposite colors on the color wheel, like yellow and purple, for dynamic paintings.This demo will show you how to do a complementary palette color study from start to finish. Starting with a sketch, picking your complementary colors, and building your painting by exploring different saturation and value levels.
Gave complimentary colors a try. Still trying to feel my way between warm and cool colors especially the way they affect local colors.
I really don't how you manage to make yours so complex and detailed. When I paint different saturations and values for that extra "juice", it just turns into a mess.
