In this demo, we are taking a black and white sketch of a castle and applying a cool, cloudy daylight palette taken from a 19th-century Russian painting. You will see the process of using selections and the mixer brush to build up texture, and why starting with a dedicated color palette usually yields much richer results than trying to colorize a greyscale rendering later on.
