Ayy, welcome back:). And thanks so much for the critique. Some of those tips are immediately helpful for an illustration I'm working on right now. Also now I kinda just wanna go and paint some magical effects haha
LESSON NOTES

What's in Premium?

I review student assignments and show you how to fix common painting issues using blending modes. We tackle muddy colors, chalky skin tones, and flat forms. You will learn how to use Multiply and Lighten layers to bring richness back into your midtones and shadows. I also break down my favorite technique for painting vibrant magical effects using Linear Dodge so they actually look like glowing light instead of flat paint. We cover how to unify separated elements in your scene by adjusting color temperatures and how to use the Saturation blending mode to fix tricky value illusions. These adjustments act as a final polish to make your paintings feel cohesive and three-dimensional.

It’s time to look over your blending modes assignment submissions! In this lesson, I’ll review your submissions and give some feedback on what is working and what can be improved.

Much happier with this outcome than the previous attempt, I'll have to look into the demo on the previous attempt to get a better idea of how the artist rendered the figure.

Feel like I bit off a bit more than I could chew here, getting the concept but don't quite think I've got it just yet any thoughts for improvement?

Think I'm going to give this one more shot after watching the critique, need to let the blending mode on the layer do its work instead of the brush. When you apply the blending modes on the brush does it cancel out the blending mode for the layer or does it have to used suttley?

@Jon Neimeister I wanted to draw an issue to your attention as the class creator, not sure where to direct this issue. The class is now being subdivided into folders by subject, which can have some benefits. But the problem now is there's no way to follow the classes chronologically or in their earlier order. I wanted to go through a couple of them again, as well as download files for a trip I'm about to take. There's no numbering to them so I can't follow where I need to jump to in the folders list. Is there a way for a chronological order to the videos can be placed somewhere for student use? Sorry to bother you, but help would be greatly appreciated.
