weird how the views on an extremely helpful tool like this only has a recorded 375 views at the time of writing while the 'how to draw' for this section has over 100k.
Hello everyone! I'm doing an anatomy tracing for the back muscles and I'm having some issues trying to work out what this muscle is. It could be the latissimus but I'm not sure. (I've drawn red arrows on the image attachment)

are you asking about the area where your arrows start from? I would say that is the ascending part of the trapezius. It's right next to the triangle of auscultation which is an area surrounded by the trap-rhomboid scapula spine and lat. Makes a kind of valley right in that spot. Doctors use that are to listen to lungs with a stethoscope.
It's the erector Spinae. The latissimus at this area is very thin and in this pose you'll see the volume of the muscles under it. For more information watch the lesson on the lower back muscles.
Best Regards
