Zettelkasten method anyone?

I started researching about this Zettelkasten thing when I heard Stan talking about it, and have been transferring my idea book and references on to those notes, and I can very much see how I make connections between seemingly unrelated stuff. I'm really interested in eastern bloc architectures, suburban people, engineering, surrealism, all over the place XD. If any of you trying to do zettelkasten, would you like to share your experience as well?

I recently started using a Zettelkasten template in Notion and it was a real game changer. There I can add tags to my cards, link back to other cards and also add images to the different entries. I think this last bit about images is what makes it really appealing to me, because in the "Gallery View" I can see cover images for every artist I put in there. And then I can group different artists together or make connections between different artworks I would otherwise not have come up with, just because both of them are for example tagged with the word "horse" or "pattern" or something like that. So I'm really fond of this digital Zettelkasten version (and think I would not be able to find things as easily if my notes were all on pieces of paper in various boxes) (I've attached a screenshot of some of those notes to this post so you can get an idea of what it looks like)

Interesting! I don't use much pictures in my cards, mostly written ones with reference to external sources that contains image. I was originally planning to do a physical one but found out it will get worn down and pile up rather quickly so yeah digital is the way. I was using this one called Zettlr as the software. It has reasonable linking and editing capability.
