My primary workspace is built around a $30 thrift store drafting table and an old TV tray... tucked into my corner of the living room, haha. Having everything within arm's reach is as beneficial to the process as it sounds like it should be. I make sure I have access to everything I need without having to get up or look around so I don't have to break my concentration. If I were to offer one piece of advice for your spot there, it would be to invest in a good lighting setup with high CRI and a lot of lumens output. There's nothing worse than not having enough light to see what the heck you're trying to do. But the absolute most important thing... The one thing no workspace can be without is a mascot! The little green dinosaur is the single most essential part of my space. His silent judgment, sitting on his high throne, always keeps me striving to do my best!
