Hey guys, Looking for recommendations on which drawing course(s) to purchase. I’ve been drawing a long time but don’t have any real formal training. I’m interested in learning about drawing form and structure using simplified shapes as a foundation on which to build the details so I can get better at drawing anything. I’d like to get better at drawing the human figure and also animals. I have some familiarity with the Loomis method already. I also have already purchased the portrait drawing course. Overall I liked that course so far, however my one constructive critique is that it’s also lacking a step by step follow along tutorial. Also when he does the process drawing, there is no explanation for how the features fit onto the frame, what are the measurements he’s using to place the features etc. I prefer courses which offer not only explanations of fundamentals, but which also offer step by step follow along tutorials so you get a chance to practice something from start to finish in a follow-along way. Considering the beginner drawing course but also considering one of the figure drawing courses (either Stan’s or M. hampton’s), which of those twoto you recommend? Also open to other non-Proko drawing courses outside of what is offered on this web site, any suggestions? Any recommendations very much appreciated. Thanks!
