Hi there! Yes, gesture drawing is a great place to start. I love your simple drawings that show just stick people. The gesture is coming through. Keep up putting in the practice! Practicing 30s and 2min gestures should not be stopped even for the experienced. Learning and practicing the basic shapes sphere, cube, and cylinder will help a lot. You are using the bean already in some places so by all means learn further and keep it up!

Hey lepetitprince, Congrats on your start on your artistic journey. To begin with, it's obvious your thinking gesture in these drawings because it really shows. Nothing feels stiff and there is a lot of movement in your drawings. Going forward, try to find the long uninterrupted gesture line that describes the pose from top to bottom. Also, try to draw larger and use your whole arm to draw, not just your wrist, this will make your lines more fluid. I did a quick sketch over one of your drawings to show you what I mean, I hope it helps :)

Thanks a lot for your reply it's really helping, I'll try to apply those things in my next session ! Also should I post my progress here when I feel I need more advice ? And I forgot to ask, but when should I move on and start the "Bean section" ? Dunno exactly how long I should practicing 30s/2min before moving on (and keep those as warm up exercices mb)
